The Handover

Learn to use object and possessive pronouns (mine/yours/his/hers) in a professional handover scenario.

The Handover

Imagine your colleague, Ayşe, is going on leave. She needs to hand over her tasks. You will cover her duties. She gives you important information and items. This is a common situation in the workplace.

Ayşe: "I am going on leave next week. Can you cover my duties?"

Can: "Yes, I can. What about the client account?"

Ayşe: "The main contact is Mr. Akın. I will forward his email to you. This laptop is mine. Please use it. The project files are on its desktop. The backup drive is yours for now. Please keep it safe. The new asset list is here. This report is hers, from Elif. She needs it next week. It is urgent."

Can: "Okay, I will contact him. Do I need to replace anything?"

Ayşe: "No, just check the schedule. Thank you for your help."
