Model Pattern (Prompt)
“I deployed the update at 09:00, and the API is stable.”
Turkish L1 Bridge: Use 'at' for exact clock times (09:00) and 'is stable' to state current system status.
Your team lead asks for the deployment status. Select the guided response:
Proactive Coach: Filtered out before you guess — avoids L1 'make + noun' and missing verb 'is'.
Prompt · Echo · Distractor · Transfer
We reject pass/fail language apps and passive video watching. Every lesson guides you from supported first exposure to independent production.
Foundational A1 and A2 courses follow a four-stage Prompt → Echo → Distractor → Transfer sequence. You build accurate muscle memory before you ever face an open blank.
See the exact target pattern and L1 contrast note before you ever face a blank.
You know your field. You can read documentation, ship code, or build reports. Yet speaking up in a second language—or explaining what the numbers actually mean and who should act on them—can still add friction to your day.
Watching a video is not completion. You write, record, receive immediate supportive AI guidance, and solidify your mastery by explaining concepts and reviewing attempts with peers.

Comparing B1, B2 & C1 takeaways from this week’s tech and AI briefings
This week’s briefing explores the AI capability gap between casual prompting and workflow integration. Share your 3-sentence summary at your target CEFR level:
Target terms: Capability gap · Frontier-grade · Workflow · Modest uplift
“In our sprint workflow, frontier technology only creates a significant impact when we pair automated code review with clear test coverage.”
Nice use of 'significant impact'! If you want the C1 framing from the brief, you can also contrast 'modest uplift' in ad-hoc tasks vs. systemic pipeline gains.
I started CareerTalkLab because I wanted to learn how to build with AI. Business English gave me a subject I knew well enough to judge whether what the LLMs and I were building actually worked—and because a system is only good if real people benefit from it.
Somewhere along the way, the conversations drifted into business plans. I’m bringing CareerTalkLab back to its original purpose: a project to pay forward what I learn, and a community of like-minded individuals looking to improve together.
Why Business English and Data Analytics? English communication enables you to participate globally. And whether you call yourself a Data Analyst or not, throughout our career journeys we always face performance and bottleneck data that needs to be analyzed. Like keeping a jack and a spare tire in your vehicle, analyzing the relevant data at hand is a tool we all need on our tool belts.
